Commonly Asked
Questions
Does MegaFood require any special storage?
No. Keep MegaFood in a cool, dry place, avoid the refrigerator. Because of the high food material content, the nutrients are hydroscopic and will readily
absorb moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed at all times.
I sometimes notice some color variation in tablets, does this mean there is anything wrong with the product?
No. Just as raw food materials can exhibit different colors, some color variation in tablets is quite normal and does not mean the quality is affected in
any way. This is just a normal characteristic of the FoodState Nutrients.
Does MegaFood have their tablets made by someone else?
This is one of the major differences between MegaFood and many other supplement companies. They do all tabulating in-house. MegaFood tablets are
made using modern tableting machines. These machines are capable of making tablets at 1600 tablets per minute. They run them at only 1/3 of this
speed to preserve heat sensitive nutrients and insure less variation in tablet potency.
Does MegaFood meet any disintegration standards?
Yes. MegaFood has a modern laboratory and runs standard disintegration tests on a regular basis. Because MegaFood is made with FoodState
nutrients, there is no problem with disintegration.
Is there yeast in MegaFood tablets?
There is no active yeast in MegaFood. A hypoallergenic yeast is used in the growing process. However, in step 2 of the Growth process, the yeast is
deactivated through the action of the proteolytic enzymes. Many people who have Candida problems take MegaFood products without
problems.
How many calories are there in a MegaFood tablet?
There are approximately four to six per tablet.
Why are MegaFood tablets so large?
The amount of food substrate required to complete the FoodState process can vary from 75% to 99.5%, this makes the tablets larger than "plain"
isolated USP tablets.
