Frequently Asked
Questions
Q: Does Hemp contain THC, the active narcotic in marijuana?
A: Our hemp food products contain 0.00% THC. There are many hundreds of different varieties of the Hemp plant; some grown for fiber, some for food,
and a hybrid that produces a flower high in the drug THC. The industrial hemp that is used in our food products contains no THC and will not produce a
positive result in a drug test.
Q - If Hemp Seed is a Nut, and I am allergic to peanuts is there any cause for concern?
A - Hemp Seed is actually categorized as an achene (like a sunflower). It is more of a fruit than a nut. There are no known allergic reactions to Hemp
Seed, for this most important reason: hemp has not been genetically altered and has not been chemically pesticided or fertilized. The allergic reaction
that is experienced with foods and other items in our environment, is because the toxins used on them have built up over time in our bodies so high, that
even the smallest amount entered into our energetic field could put us over the edge into a serious traumatic reaction, basically poisoning. The human
body does not have allergic reactions to fresh raw organic food.
Q - What is the difference between Hemp Seed Oil and Flax Oil?
A - "While flax oil is useful for treating degenerative disease, it is too Omega 3-rich (about 4 times as much Omega 3 as Omega 6) to be used
exclusively in the long term. One can develop Omega 6 deficiency by using only flax for too long. While it took me about 2 years to end up with thin,
papery-feeling skin that dried out and cracked easily, Omega 6 deficiency could develop in as short time as 10 to 16 months of exclusive use of flax oil."
"Hemp seed oil can be used over the long term to maintain a healthy EFA balance without leading to either EFA deficiency or imbalance. This is
because it contains Omega 3 and Omega 6 EFA's in a better long-term balance: 3 to 1. In addition, it contains almost 2% GLA, the Omega 6 derivative
that is a key active ingredient… " page 291, "Fats that Heal… Fats that Kill" Udo Erasmus.
Q: What makes your products different?
A: There are several different kinds of vitamin C and calcium on the market; only one is useful to your body, and can only be assimilated in combination
with other elements; which do you choose? If you do not understand how the body functions and the problem… you cannot fix it, in fact you make it
worse! Hiding symptoms does not return us to Homeostasis. A body in Homeostasis has no disease! Living Harvest uses Hemp as its foundational
whole food product as it contains all the amino and fatty acids (including the essentials that the body cannot make and must get from the food chain to
maintain homeostasis) in perfect combination for total assimilation, and uses proprietary processing methods that keep the food as close to the
perfection of nature as possible. All conveniently found in one source:Living Harvest Conscious Nutrition
Q - How many scoops of hemp protein do I need per day?
A - It has come to my awareness that because more than 50% of North Americans are overweight and hypoglycemic and/or diabetic, and even though
the blood profile shows "too much" protein; the excess protein in the blood stream tells me that there is too much indigestible protein, and this mucul
protein build up in the blood, arteries, muscles organs and colon…is the cause of obesity and health problems. This means that we as a nation are
"protein deficient." When I discovered this, I decided to treat the hemp protein as my major source of food. When I did I had amazing results. I thought
that by eating all of this protein, I would gain weight… it was exactly the opposite. Because this protein powder with EFA's is LIVE, meaning the
enzymes are fully intact and the good fats are not damaged into Trans fatty acids, it assimilates into the body very easily and CLEANS HOUSE! In the
first month I lost 9 lbs of waste out of my body, then I gained a couple of lbs back and have since stayed at the same weight as whe I was 17 years old.
The recommendation to anyone is follow what your body tells you. If your body wants more… give it more. There were some days I would have 4 to 6
shakes, 2 to 3 scoops per shake, and there are some days like this morning that I don't even feel hungry. For most people I have experienced that using
2 to 3 shakes per day for the first week really helps to get a solid foundation back in the body of all your essentials… protein, good fats and enzymes.
Because these products are balanced whole LIVE foods, the body will always use what it needs and easily let go of the rest as waste. I do not believe
that you can eat too much or become toxic to these hemp foods, unless you are force fed past your hunger level. Over eating is never wise.
